Hi,

the attachment feature on the forum has been fixed. You can now attach up to 4 tracks, each up to 20 MB in size, to each post. You can submit MP3, OGG and WMA files for now. Just click the "Additional Options..." link below when posting a post and you'll be able to attach files. Please share any backing tracks you've made here (just reply to this thread and attach it to your post or start a new post in this section). Or, if you have tracks that have been requested, reply to the request thread and attach it there.

If you for some reason can't upload the tracks here, just attach them to an e-mail and shoot it over to webmaster [at] guitarbackingtrack.com

Thanks for your contributions!

David Lee Roth - Tobacco Road

I know this one is kinda lame but I like jamming to it.

You mind if I hand over some versions of the Van Halen you allready have up?

T-Rev

EDIT: Added to the archive in addition to the old one, thanks!

Hey,

thanks for the submission. I'll add it later tonight or tomorrow. You can submit different (preferably better) versions of the songs I currently have on the site. I'll just add them along with the others, or potentially overwrite the old ones if they're really bad.

I appreciate your contributions!

Zakk Wylde - Sold My Soul

I am completely aware that this isn't, by any means, perfect, nor professional. It's all a bit wrong - not true to the original (due to my laziness), and it's lacking distorted rhytm guitar at one moment. (due to my inability to record it) But well, it's surely better than midi, and the only midi bt I found for this one had acoustic and solo guitar only. My track starts just before the distorted guitars come in, had no reason to make the whole song, because I just wanted to play the solos. Wink

I guess I should not post here, but frankly there is no other topic for Troubleshooting. I tried to submit a BT of my own, and I got errors both times. The files are indeed big, 6.something megs, yet is this a problem? I am submitting from Europe, should that be a concern... I also tried submitting them one at a time. File could not be saved. What can I do?

Hi,

sorry for the trouble. I have recently upgraded and moved to a better server. In the process I forgot to set some PHP variables controlling the maximum allowable upload size. The problem should be fixed now. I just tried uploading four 7MB tracks to test and it worked. Please try to submit again.

I really appreciate the submissions, and sorry for the inconvenience. Looking forward to the tracks!

Here is my own interpretation of Bloodhound Gang's Fire Water Burn. There are three mp3's, one with/one without the intro played, but both without the distors guitar. The third one includes the distors guitar. The tempo might be a little off, but not by much, since I think there is just about 20 secs difference between the original and this (mine is itty bit faster). The gp3 I played it from is one from that famous 20,000+ collection, but here is a link to one just as good, albeit a little more complicated. Press this to download gp4
Made using my Ibanez GAX30, DigiTech RP90 and Mixcraft.
kennyken4363 from Digitech Forums sent me to this website, so kudos to him.

God, I thought it would fail again, it took the upload 15 mins... Oddgeir, should I make the files smaller next time?

Hmm, it all depends on your internet connection I guess. Most connections have a much slower upload speed than download speed, so it will take some extra time to upload. My uploads took under a minute though (3 songs, ~15MB), but I have a 100mbit connection both ways.

So, it is up to you if you want to make them smaller. I will use the ones already here as they are. Thanks for the contribution!

Hi, thanks for your mails oddgeir, here are the tracks as promised, i noticed that "Bad Moon Rising" only plays for about 20 secs or so, so here is a full version, and some others.
All the best.
Baz.
